Driving the 600+ Mile Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail in Northern Wisconsin.
This 600+ mile three-day adventure motorcycle ride begins at the WI-IL border. It then works its way north via scenic back roads to the Lake Superior shore. The southern portion principally uses winding and rolling paved roads that take in some of the outstanding scenery along the Mississippi River and the driftless region in SW WI. As you work your way further north, you find yourself on mostly gravel and dirt roads and paths that guide you through the wondrous sights and scenery of the northern forests. The route is a good choice for medium and large dual sports and provides an excellent opportunity to camp off of your bike.
