Fluid Dynamics is a very common topic on which questions are frequently asked in NEET and JEE Main. This topic covers applications of conservation of energy and work energy theorem on flowing fluids. In this topic of fluid dynamics students must be careful about applying laws studied in fluid statics as those laws and applications can't be directly used when fluid is flowing.
In flowing state of fluids we consider pressure difference is the main cause of fluid flow but to maintain the flow, pressure difference is not required just like the case of a moving body on a smooth horizontal surface no force is required to maintain the motion but force is required to start the motion. Even in flowing fluid pressure acts at every point equally in all directions like we studied in fluid statics.
