Honda RC174 / RC166 PURE SOUND! Honda 6 Cylinder 20,000rpm GP Racer at Mallory Park Bike Bonanza

Описание: The bike that made Honda bikes renown and probably the loudest machines heard at Mallory Park in quite some time! The sounds of the multiple Honda 6 bikes in attendance at the 2024 Mallory Park Bike Bonanza were pretty spectacular to hear and deserved their own video. With 24 valves, reaching speeds over 150mph and revving in some cases as far as 18 to 20,000rpm, they were pretty advanced, near mythical pieces of kit for the mid 1960's! Not too sure if these are RC165, RC166 or RC174 bikes, I'm sure someone far more knowledgeable in the comments can correct me on that. Bikes unfortunately aren't my area of expertise. but I do know that these are almost certainly the work of George Beale, who built these under authorization of the Honda Motor Company themselves. In period these would have been raced by Mike Hailwood, Jim Redman and Stuart Graham, and even more recently ridden by Guy Martin, John McGuiness and Michael Rutter to name a few. Guy Martin might have been brought out of retirement a few years ago specifically because of the chance to even have a go on this!
