Description: This is the Gunflint Lake Public Water Access. It serves as the entry point landing for both BWCA Entry Point 57 - Magnetic Lake and BWCA Entry Point 58 - South Lake. From the entry point, Magnetic Lake is to the north/northwest and about one-mile of paddling. To reach the South Lake entry point, paddle east. It is 10 miles across Gunflint Lake, then several portages and lakes to cross (including North Lake), before actually reaching South Lake. This is in the BWCA.
