The Virginia PACE Alliance (VPA), including InnovAge, the country's largest PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly), meet with local lawmakers to spread the word about the value of PACE to local seniors, their families, and to state and federal governments. Through its unique care model and interdisciplinary care team approach, PACE has shown it reduces hospitalizations and nursing home stays. A recent report by the Bipartisan Policy Group found that states utilizing PACE have realized cost savings compared to other government-funded senior healthcare and nursing home programs. For example, South Carolina saw savings of almost $9,000 per individual per year, while Wyoming saved an estimated $12,361 per participant annually.
