This Village Water Project by Africa Heartwood Project was sponsored by the Barker & Kennedy families who did a fundraising drive around the holiday season in 2019. Their kindness resulted in an entire remote community in Liberia receiving a new bore hole hand pump to provide save drinking water all year around. In this video we meet some of the powerful women of the village, who are so excited to have been empowered with training by the AHP team to be able to maintain and repair their new water source.
