When working with, say, a power tool, you want to be sure, there is a safety switch, which prevents accidents. Something which makes your machine stop before you would get hurt. And Bosch has been very attentive to the safety needs and expectations of its customers. As Bosch products become connected and AI-enabled, we need to ask: can there be a safety switch on something that is somewhere in the cloud? Christoph Peylo, who leads the Digital Trust project at Bosch, has the answer. It lies in the AI Code of Ethics.
