During the nearly five-year development marathon of Nine Sols , Red Candle Games not only poured our hearts into game production but also launched a concurrent, long-term Alternate Reality Game (ARG) project .

To immerse players in the world of Nine Sols , we began with "Shan-Hai 9000"—a symbol of Solarian technology. Through text, video, and other interactive mediums, we spent years solving puzzles and advancing the narrative alongside our players, both online and offline. Together, we gradually unveiled the face of this world and co-wrote a one-of-a-kind experience that can never be replicated.

This video series serves not only as an invitation for those new to the Nine Sols ARG to review its complete journey with us, but also as a precious record of what we achieved together.

The story—a journey of redemption spanning ten thousand years—was initiated by Shan-Hai 9000 and Chien. With the guidance and companionship of over 10,000 players , they were the ones to raise the curtain, and ultimately, the ones to bring it to a close.

We offer our sincere gratitude to every player who participated and to all the staff involved in production. Together, we built the world of Nine Sols and created countless memories. Perhaps years from now, these scenes will still bring us back to those funny moments—and the quiet beauty within them.
