Akhanda 2 (2025) - Behind The Scenes | Real Locations Shooting | VFX

Описание: Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has finally hit the big screens, and the madness around Nandamuri Balakrishna’s high-octane action is unreal. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film delivers over-the-top mass moments, intense action sequences, and powerful visuals that leave the audience stunned.

You’ll see how the powerful river meditation sequence featuring Balakrishna was filmed in real flowing water using underwater cameras, heavy cranes, and advanced rigs. The team faced strong currents, slippery rocks, and tough natural environments, yet chose real locations over shortcuts.

We also break down the Mahakumbh sequence. Since shooting at the actual Kumbh Mela wasn’t possible, the makers smartly combined real crowd footage, real locations, and high-end VFX to create a grand and realistic visual experience.

Additionally, this video covers the VFX-heavy sequences involving Aadhi Pinisetty’s character Netra. These scenes were shot entirely inside a VFX studio using blue screens, later enhanced with snow, mountains, storms, and dramatic effects under the supervision of VFX expert Anil Kumar Panikra. The film’s 3D conversion was handled by Rays 3D, giving several scenes an immersive depth.
From advanced camera setups and prosthetic makeup to director Boyapati Srinu’s hands-on approach on set, this BTS breakdown shows how Akhanda 2 is not just a mass entertainer, but a technically ambitious film.
