▪️Top Video - As the ball approaches, a lot of young players end up closing the bat face way too early trying to flick the ball into the leg side. This causes only a very small % of the bat face presented. Which in turn, hugely reduces the chances of hitting the ball cleanly. This actually increases the chances of missing the ball or hitting a leading edge up in the hair.

▪️Bottom Video - They Key is, for the Player to present the full face of the bat allowing for very good connection. Once connected with the ball, ONLY then he breaks his wrist, creating the flick of the wrist motion.
