Linfield University opened its new 20-acre campus in NE Portland for classes on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021. The university spent eight months renovating the former University of Western States campus to fit the needs of the school of nursing. The campus has 10 buildings, and most students will spend time in building 2 (lecture halls), buildings 3 and 7 (experiential learning centers), building 4 (classrooms) and building 6 (library).
Dean Kim Jones and student Dennis Morar '21 share their thoughts about the new campus and its potential for Linfield and the nursing profession.
