Описание: #WATCH | "This ethanol blending in petrol has been not done overnight. It is a measured, scientifically driven, step-by-step process. In 2013 and 2014, we were blending about one and a half percent ethanol in gasoline. And this programme was targeted to have 20% blending, which is E20, completed in December 25, five years ahead of the target. This programme, the ethanol blending programme, particularly in 2018, was in a structured manner, put out for discussion and deliberation by all stakeholders. It is supported by scientific evidence, extensive testing by the automotive, manufacturers and the agencies who support them, namely the Automotive Research Association of India, ARAI and SIAM, and also it is in line with the global best practices which is followed to green the fossil fuels to lower the carbon emissions," says expert Vartika Shukla at the press conference by industry experts on ethanol.
