Описание: We travelled to Galax, VA, to see the 84th Old Fiddler's Convention, a 6-day competition of music, song, and dance from Appalachia. It attracts a huge number of participants from all over the world. The first day was devoted to the youth competition, where children as young as 6 show off their skills on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo and string band. Some of these very young kids are so good that the word "prodigy" comes to mind. We had a blast listening to all this talent, and hope that you will enjoy this 10-minute sampler.
