#christmasvillage #christmasdecor #christmastree I live in a small apartment in NY and have no space to store tables. So I build my Christmas Village from the boxes that the porcelain houses came in and use 20 x 30 foam board from Hobby Lobby to act as my "plywood". Placing the foam boards on top of the boxes gives a firm secure platform and I duct tape them together for a 50" width and then I top them with styrofoam. The streets are made with black eva foam on a roll. I do my own double yellow lines and crosswalks with tape. Everything is measured in order to have the streets connect on one level. With differing size boxes in height and crooked floors this is a challenge. About 80% of my figurines are porcelain, since Lemax only made porcelain during the 1990's, some were bought in 1996 but most were bought on ebay or mercari.
