Known as 'Island of Dolls'. Where you go around you will see dead trees, branches, hanging old and deformed dolls. According to the Times of India report, the spirit of a young girl is believed to be on the island. The girl was drowned on a small island hidden deep in the canal of Jochimilco. Since then, the soul of the little girl has remained on the island. Don Julián Santana Barrera was the only permanent inhabitant of the island of Puppet. Despite having a wife and family, he lived here.
Don Julian lived on this island for about 50 years. He died in 2001. He was found drowned in the water of this island. Before his death he always said that he saw the little girl. In response, tourists began flocking to the island to pay their respects. They bring their own dolls. Even today people honor Don Julian and the little girl by hanging dolls to pay homage.
