Final Fantasy XIV is a deceptively odd thing, as basically the only live-service game that actively gives a damn about its own story. But that gives its story an unusual relationship to its own characters, and one I think is worth exploring! So today, we're looking at the ways FFXIV puts its characters down the roads it does.
