I made succulent green roof birdhouses! You can take any birdhouse and attach supports on the roof to hold soil for a green roof. In this video I use one birdhouse I made and one birdhouse I bought and I attach a green roof then I plant it up with succulents. This is a fun DIY succulent project. You could also use cactus or other drought tolerant plants.
I don't go over how to build a birdhouse but once you have a birdhouse you can use this video to help you create a greenroof. If you do decide to build your own birdhouse here are some tips to keep in mind:
