The EFF has lambasted National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza over her decision to withhold her concurrence to subpoena Paul O’Sullivan and Brown Mogotsi in the parliamentary probe into allegations of criminal infiltration and political interference in the criminal justice system.
In correspondence to the Ad-Hoc Committee last week, Didiza warned that the step could be the subject of litigation due to the committee’s failure to properly engage with the concerns raised by the pair. EFF chairperson Nontando Nolutshungu has more.
