MicroTorque (MT) is Atlas Copco’s family of tools designed to bring accuracy with maximum productivity and flexibility for low torque applications. What is Digital IO? Digital IO allows the MTF6000 controller to communicate with other devices in the assembly process. This, incorporated with other built-in functionality, allows the MicroTorque Focus 6000 (called the MTF6000) to act as a soft PLC by providing information to the operator, receiving inputs and sending outputs. This saves time and can be easier to program. Additionally, and best of all, it reduces overall cost of implementation.
