In this episode of Project 47, I spend 3 days uncovering the hidden side of Hiroshima Prefecture. Most people know the history of the Atomic Bomb Dome, but few travel deeper to find the surreal "Cave of Hell" at Kousanji Temple or the massive "Iron Whale" submarine sitting in the middle of a city street in Kure.

But the highlight for any motorcycle rider is the legendary Shimanami Kaido—a breathtaking route that hops across six islands via massive suspension bridges over the Seto Inland Sea. It is a dream road that feels worlds away from the city.
