And the truth is I can't always afford the big expensive or fancy toys you see online, and most pet shops only sell parrot toys that most experienced parrot owners will confirm are unsafe for many reasons. The best thing about Pionus Parrots is they don't need the big fancy cheap toys! They get by quite happily with cardboard, willow branches, egg boxes, paper and other cheap and easily recyclable materials. But if you want to treat your Pionus Parrot to something a bit fancier than a bit of paper and cardboard, here's some ideas:
