"House of the Rising Sun" for cello and piano (live in Antigua)
MdLMaria and Dr. George Roberts
I had the pleasure of playing with Dr. George Roberts when I went to Antigua. He's an incredible pianist, and we got together one afternoon to play a few tunes. It was the first time we played together! My good friend Nicole (and Dr. Roberts's daughter) happened to have a camera on hand, and I'm so glad that she did because she was able to capture this. Thanks, Nicole! Also, thanks to one of my friends, whose arrangement of "House" was probably the first version of the song I played and one which influenced me here (adaptation of the bass line for cello) and in general. I grew to love this tune over the years.
