Details instructions on how to make a handy folding table.
This table is based on a traditional design.
Traditional design uses dowels at the pivot points. I used bolts.
The folding mechanism is clever and does not use any hinges.
I made this video because I could not find good instructions on the internet.
Parts List
4 pcs wood: 21" x 1.5" x 15mm thick
4 pcs wood: 14" x 1.5" x 15mm thick
4 pcs wood: 15.25" x 3.5" x 15mm thick
2 pcs wood: 13" x 2.5" x 15mm thick
1 wooden dowel 8" long x 1" diameter
2 wooden dowel 2" long x 5/16" diameter
4 bolts 1" long, 1/4-20 thread, pan head
2 bolts 1.5" long, 1/4-20 thread, pan head
6 T-nuts 1/4-20 thread
6 flat fender washers, 1.25" diameter with 1/4" hole
Stainless Steel hardware is ideal
16 deck screws 2" long x #8
Blue LocTite
