Video from the men´s 10 km A race at the 5th Berlin Invitational on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Zeuthener Winkel in the southern periphery of the city of Berlin. The footage was taken from the rear of the lead vehicle and shows splits for all relevant distances of the race. Vicent Kibet (KEN) was the eventual winner in 28:13. 24 athletes dipped under 30 minutes, where 11 achieved PBs.
The effect of an up to 15 kmh wind from SSE was reflected in the km-splits, where in the head wind sections the splits were about 5 seconds slower than in the tail wind segments heading north.
Note added in proof: In the graphics of the results table shown after 29:30 minutes in the video the time of Jack Rowe (GBR) has been misprinted and should read 28:24 instead of 32:35.
