I bought this car from someone that told me that everything was in order.
I'm too trusting and believed this man.
Have a look under the car from the road, saw nothing special.
Must have an MOT, brought to the garage, and found out that the chassis was completely rotten, it was '' treated '' with thick layers of underseal, so you did not see it when you take a look under the car quickly.
Get not a positive response from the seller, lawsuit started, but I would lose... because I had not bring the car to a garage for a professional check. So,repair was not an option, this was already done, body and chassis were welded to each other, only a replacement chassis was the option but because we live here in Europe it was not an option. I trade this Monterey whit a Black 5L V8 89 Firebird.
I sold the Firebird and totally lost a lot of money.
The new owner with I have trade, has bought a MOT (obviously illegal) and he sold the Monterey, so the ''2e new'' owner thought to have bought a good car, but now after two years, the car suddenly has no MOT more ...
This world has a lot of annoying flashing people ..
