On the morning of 19 July 2026, one day before the planned Parliament March, hundreds of students continued their protest at Jantar Mantar in strong support of Sonam Wangchuk, who is on hunger strike against repeated NEET paper leaks.

The gathering remained completely non-political. No party flags or banners were allowed. Students and supporters came purely for the cause, standing with Sonam Wangchuk and demanding justice for the education system.

Despite low energy, many students stayed awake through the night. CJP workers and girl students kept continuous vigil to protect the protest site. Several supporters had travelled from places like Jaipur, Rajasthan, to join the movement.

The atmosphere reflected deep frustration among middle-class families and aspirants whose years of hard work are being destroyed by repeated paper leaks. Students, including those who left jobs and higher studies, are demanding dialogue, accountability from NTA, and real exam reforms.
