Christmas Tree Quilt Block Free Tutorial! No Measuring! Use your Scraps!

Описание: This is a fun improv-style Christmas Tree Quilt Block Tutorial.

I've made two versions of this block but the overall block construction is the same. You either start with a one-color crumb block in tones of green (see video link below) or start with your leftover green and red or Christmas Fabric scrappy strips and we'll make a version with a cute garland on the tree.

As with most of my quilt block tutorials, there is little if any measuring. We use a triangle shape as a guide throughout the piecing and then trim up the final quilt block at the end. There is no pre-cutting of pieces ahead of time.

I used the Accuquilt Isosceles Triangel Die to cut my two big triangles and you can find that here:

If you don't have an accuquilt don't worry, just use any other triangle ruler or template or cut a triangle out free-form. There are no rules!
