This is one of my favorite dances because I love the music and I adore water sleeves. 福然然 (Fú Rán Rán) has been doing Chinese dance for many years (starting year 8 this month) and performed a different version of this at outreaches over the last year (prior to lock-down). Unlike 福然然, I'm very new to Chinese dance. I learned this as part of a Chinese dance for fitness class taught over Zoom by Zhou Jinyu (Zhou Laoshi) with CAAM-Chinese Dance Theater (https://www.caamcdt.org/). We never used water sleeves for class, but I had to try it out with the sleeves for fun.
