The driving leitmotif behind this theme was derived from Haywyre's "Trigger" soundtrack originally utilised in the early days of Vampire Hunters 2. I was just a wee kid at the time and after noticing videos featuring the music from my gameplay were being claimed for copyright, I thought it would be best to instead use an original soundtrack.
Many players missed Trigger (it is a certified banger) - so I incorporated the main melody line into the VH3 OST in reference and respect to the game's roots. There are many other leitmotifs in this soundtrack which you may hear appear in different tracks in the game - see if you can spot them!
