I was a PBS kid myself, and I grew up watching shows like Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street, Bob Ross etc-- so Daniel Tiger feels comfortable and very familiar to me. There was nothing I wanted more in the world than being a Zoom kid; if you knew me as a kid, you'd have heard me profess this any chance I could get. Both of my kids appreciate the calm teaching style of Daniel Tiger, and I love that they enjoy it together. Ugga mugga!
