Nano currency (XNO) payment using WebNFC API

Описание: Inspired by ‪@Apple‬ 's #taptopay feature, here's how the experience would feel like if it used #Nano (ticker XNO) for #payments .

The demo employs the experimental #WebNFC API, which allows browsers to read/write to #NFC tags.

As Web NFC doesn't yet allow a phone to act as an NFC tag, an actual NFC tag was used as a substitute (visible in the demo video).

This NFC tag is prewritten with the Nano address of the receiving phone.

The sending phone scans the NFC tag when placed close to the receiving phone, simulating #TapToPay.

Once scanned the sending phone initiates a Nano payment to the scanned Nano address.

The receiving phone monitors the prewritten Nano address for balance changes and when a payment to this address is confirmed on the Nano network, it starts the receive animation with updated balance.

As you can see in the demo the entire payment (send and receive transaction) is completed in just a few seconds thanks to the speed of the #Nano network.

Also there were zero fees paid as the Nano network is completely feeless.

An obvious weak point in this demo is usage of a substitute NFC tag.

However if @Apple were to open up #TapToPay functionality for #Nano (ticker XNO) wallets, this payment experience could become a reality.
