Briefing of the adjustable choke valve - API 6A standard.
3" flanges, working pressure 10K psi.
The main function of the choke valve is to control the well flow by changing the choke area, the tip of the valve's stem moves linearly in/out of the valve's seat, So the flow path's cross-section area will change depending on the stem movement.
Normally the choke valve is used as part of the choke manifold (Up-stream Equipment).
