Learn how to pour silver bars with consistent results. In this video I melt up 1 ounce of silver crystals to make a loaf style silver bar. I go on to pour 10 silver bars as shown in the final shot. I explain the heating and proper temperature to use for consistent results. Also, take a close look at how I built my furnace for melting metal in a melt dish. Melt dish was glazed with borax before I began the melt (not shown). Learn how to completely refine silver to 999 fine and even 9999 fine along with gold and base metals on my youtube channel.

Melting silver is the final step in metal refining and is also very rewarding when the results are there.

Silver is denoted as Ag on the periodic table of elements #47. And when it is 9999 pure it pours with blue ray fleck that can be seen in the finish. It is absolutely beautiful when done correctly and this video will teach you how to gain the experience needed for consistent results.
