And I view it as a problem, because if it wasn't a problem, they wouldn't be coming to me. They'd be doing it themselves. Marc Newson has been described as one of the most influential designers of his generation. He has worked across an extremely wide range of disciplines, and his clients include some of the best-known and most prestigious brands in the world spanning diverse sectors from manufacturing and technology to transportation, fashion, and the luxury goods sector.

Over two months, The Hour Glass has premiered a series of short films on nine of the world’s leading contemporary artists and independent watchmakers. Featuring: Maximilian Büsser (MB&F), Sir David Adjaye OBE RA (Adjaye Associates), Rexhep Rexhepi (Akrivia), Daniel Arsham, Wieki Somers (Studio Wieki Somers), Roger W. Commissioned by The Hour Glass, these portraits profile the journey of these cultural wunderkinds and document their dedication to their craft.
