S onih sunčanih stran,
Tri dara nošahu
Mir, zlato, tamijan.
Tri kralja dođoše
Pred grad Jeruzalem
Pitajuć za mjesto
Gdje se rodi Isus.
U palači stojeć,
Odgovori Irud
Naći ga nećete
Zalud je sav vaš trud.
Ako ga nađete
Natrag se vratite
I meni Irudu
Glase donesite.
ENGLISH:
Three kings were riding
from those sunny lands,
they carried three gifts:
myrrh, gold, and frankincense.
Three kings came
before the city of Jerusalem,
asking about the place
where Jesus was born.
Standing in the palace,
Herod replied:
“You will not find Him;
all your effort is in vain.
If you do find Him,
return back again,
and bring word to me, Herod,
and give me the news.”
