Описание: This video introduces you to Ms. Erika Murakami (aka "Erika"), one of Japan's upcoming fashion models who is now expanding her career to acting. Erika was born in Aizu-Wakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture to a Japanese housewife and a British Canadian father, Chadd Edison, who is now a Japanese citizen and works in Fukushima. Erika has one younger sister and one younger brother who were both academically talented as Erika.
Erika is an exclusive model for ViVi, one of Japan's popular fashion magazines for young women. Erika has been one of the top students from an elementary school to high school; she got into one othe best universities, Tokyo University of Science Faculty of Management in April 2019 and graduated in March 2023 on time with honors.
In 2017, when Erika came to Tokyo to participate in the National High School Quiz Championship, she was scouted by her current talent agency. At the time, Erika only exchanged contact information and didn't care to join the agency. In 2018, however, Erika decided to take a challenge to audition for modeling. To her surprise, she won the grand prize, leading her to the exclusive modeling job commemorating the 35th anniversary of the launch of ViVi which made her runway debut at the "ViVi Night in TOKYO 2018 HALLOWEEN PARTY" held in the fall. In 2019, Erika moved to Tokyo to attend university and began her modeling career at the same time. Despite extremely busy schedule, she managed to ace academically at the university.
Erika also made her acting debut in the original drama "Black Cinderella" (ABEMA), which aired from April to June, 2021. In Nov of the same year, Erika made her stage debut in the play "She'll Surely Use Magic 2021." She enjoyed new challanges tremendously. In March 2022, Erika made her terrestrial television drama debut in the special drama "Damasenai Otoko" (Nippon TV). In 2023, she was selected to play one of the heroines, Himeno Ran/Makiri Oger, in the Super Sentai series "Osama Sentai King Oger" (TV Asahi), making her first appearance in a terrestrial television drama series. In March of the same year, she announced that she had graduated from Tokyo University of Science.
In July of the same year, she made her first film appearance in the movie "Osama Sentai King Oger Adventure Heaven."
In May 2024, Erika released her first photo book, "Aderu Aika." In Nov of the same year, she was appointed as a tourism ambassador for Aizu Misato Town, Fukushima Prefecture. She is very busy expanding her entertainent career. Best of luck to Erika!
