Walk with me around Capitol Commons on a Good Friday (Holy Week) night. The set-up in the middle of the park is called the Stations of the Cross, a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christs' last day on Earth. Holy Week is the most sacred week in the liturgical year in Christianity. Good Friday is the Friday before Easter on which Christians annually observe the occasion of Christ's crucifixion. Capitol Commons, a 10-hectare commercial complex of condominiums, offices, supermarket, movie theater, restaurants, cafes, and a variety of stores, is located along Meralco Avenue corner Shaw Boulevard in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
