The Epikon Proof New Generation Foundation Insulation System has high strength carrier and high performance SBS polymer added bitumen. It also has high strength of adhesion to fresh concrete, that can be used with confidence in foundation and single side wall formwork waterproofing applications. With its special formula and special sandy upper surface, it forms an impermeable surface by achieving excellent adhesion to foundation concrete that will be poured on it. It does not separate from the surface.
With the flexibility provided by its highly elastomeric formula it works in conjunction with the load bearing system for moving foundations and unstable floors.
With its special formula and high resistance felt carrier with a compressive strength of 1000/800 N/50 mm, it is highly resistant to tearing and puncturing. It is the ideal solution for deep foundations that are exposed to high hydrostatic pressure.
The Epikon Proof EP 450 Double has high resistance to tearing by virtue of its double polyester carrier. Iron reinforcement work for foundations can be performed on it without any problems.
