Online JD Information Session

Описание: Southwestern’s fully online, ABA-accredited J.D. program – one of our many J.D. offerings – allows you to pursue your legal education through an innovative, research-backed, and primarily asynchronous curriculum. Offered as either a full-time or a part-time program, the Online J.D. degree integrates remote learning with support, community, and experiential opportunities, including key features such as:

No required on-campus components. Although you’ll have campus access and can benefit from our physical location in Los Angeles, you will not need to come to campus to complete any degree requirements.

Courses designed for the online learner. Classes are not simply long recorded lectures. Short, easily-digestible videos – enhanced with animations, quizzes, and more – help you stay engaged with the material. Reading assignments, writing exercises, and other learning exercises round out your coursework.

Flexible scheduling within a rigorous educational framework. All required coursework and many elective courses are delivered in an asynchronous format, with no required meeting times. Coursework is completed on a week-by-week basis, with full-time students spending a minimum of 45 hours/week on the program and part-time students spending a minimum of 35 hours/week on the program.

Support at every turn. A dedicated team of staff just for online students, first-year classes taught by experienced full-time faculty, and access to student organizations, honors programs, academic support, and all our campus resources means there’s always someone in your corner – wherever that may be!
