Описание: This is a song I wrote that God laid on my heart. With the passing of my idol and someone who I just loved so much, it broke my heart when I learned that Naomi Judd had passed. I always had her in my mind as Mama Judd who always looked so beautiful and perfect and always with a smile on her face.

I am not a tv watcher and I don’t research a lot of stuff so to find out that she had battled with depression really hit me hard.
When an interview came across my feed of her being interviewed by Robin Roberts I cried. I cried because hearing her describe what she went through took me back to my childhood and what I went through with my Mom. Naomi I know the world is grieving and you left such a beautiful mark on everyone. Your songs and voice brought so many people peace and a sense of home. I don’t think I will be able to sing another Judds song without tearing up again. You will be forever missed.

My Mom was a recovering alcoholic. She got saved when she found out she was pregnant with me but afterwards fell into years of depression. As a little girl I would go days without seeing mom sometimes. She would get in her lows and she would hide away in the bedroom. She would hang big blankets on the windows to make it pitch black. She wouldn’t clean the house, cook or want to do anything. The dr would give her tons of nerve medicine. Which I think only made it worse. She suffered from mental illness and depression. The only thing that saved my mom is God and she would write books upon books of poems and her life and how she felt.

I know in life I’ve hit lows and I’m sure like everyone has had some depression. We all need to be aware to check in on our friends and family and just be there for them. The ones that put in that smile that shines so bright can be the bearer of some of the darkest pain.

I’m putting it in Gods hands to get it to the souls that need to hear this message! Let it touch your heart and you just know that you got this!
