From the Field -- FMS Rafale 80mm EDF First Flights (Clean & Full Stores!)

Описание: Something about the Dassault deltas, they’re always such nice looking designs. This FMS Rafale 80mm EDF is a recent addition to the shop and it's a really nice looking model! The fit and finish are really nice and the model really flies well too. While I'm working on putting my review together, here's a quick first flights video in the clean and full stores configuration. The model looks awesome with the stores, but it does lose some of the top end performance for sure. One thing to note is that all of the servos run through a central control box which features a ‘flap’ mode which I don't recommend using. It essentially cuts your elevator rate in half by fixing the inboard elevon surface in a ‘flapped’ position only allowing the outboard trailing edge surfaces for maneuvering. Landing is when you want the elevator authority the most and limiting you to a smaller moving surface will only make it more challenging.
