Creating a custom My Little Pony inspired TAMAGOTCHI! | Shell & Wallpaper Customization | PandaBunny

Описание: Sorry I haven't been posting much lately 🙁 Didn't feel like talking on camera today, so please accept this exceptionally long description in place of my voice 😅

This simple customization included three main parts: designing the faceplate, designing the background, and removing the faceplate's exterior printing.

To design the faceplate, I used my old faceplate insert as a template. I edited a MLP image to get all the characters within the template boundaries. It was printed on standard cardstock and cut to fit.

For the background, I designed a wallpaper based off of the MLP Golden Oak Library. I used the fan-made MyMeets app to send the wallpaper to the Tama. A HUGE thanks to the creators of MyMeets; their hard work and knowledge is evident in how well the app runs. More info on the app can be found here: https://tamatown.com/downloads/

Removing the faceplate printing... was a huge experiment (that honestly didn't go well 😅). I tried several different ways to remove the printing... with no success. I ended up scraping the design, which actually worked quite well! Some of the design is still visible (due to acetone melting the plastic 😂), and I did make a few accidental cuts in the plastic.

Lately, I of course need to mention that I don't own or have the rights to My Little Pony in ANY way. This customized piece was created for personal use, and I will not be selling it or sharing the files to it.

It is by no means perfect, but I'm so glad I took time to create this... simply because it brought some much needed fun into my life. Thank you so much for watching 💖
