This is a fairly in-depth look at whether it is worth it to buy expensive high-end hardware in order to improve our experience in our modded Cities Skylines addictions.
I started off with a pretty good mid-range PC (i5 6600k, R9 390), but the performance in CS was getting really bad, not just the FPS, but the simulation speed. So I decided to bite the bullet and invest in some really fancy high-spec components to see if I could improve the situation.

Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHz 32GB
HD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
PS: EVGA Supernova G2 650W
