🎬 ON TODAY'S MANUAL: Shimmer reverbs have always been an effect that sparked my interest. It's a very unique effect that blends the tail of the reverb signal with pitching octave sounds, creating very moody and atmospheric vibes. For that reason, I brought three reverb pedals that can create this effect today - each in its own way. Unlike more common types of reverb, shimmers tend to vary a lot from one company to another, so let's explore these sounds through playing and old clips of mine - in order to see ideas on how to use them in an indie, alternative rock musical context. This is the second reverb video I'm doing, following up to my old 'How to mix reverb and fuzz for shoegaze' video. Link for this video will also be here in the description.
