• Distracted Driving: Annually, over 6,900 crashes in Dallas County are attributed to distracted driving, averaging about 19 incidents per day . 
• Drunk Driving: More than 1,000 accidents each year involve alcohol, equating to at least three drunk driving crashes daily . 
• Commercial Vehicle Accidents: Approximately 4,125 commercial vehicle crashes occur annually, with over 38 resulting in fatalities . 

Certain roadways are particularly hazardous. Loop 12, for instance, has been the site of nearly 500 severe accidents over a five-year span, marking it as one of Dallas’s most dangerous roads .
