Описание: THE BEAUTY WITHIN by Nwabisa Mvunelo from Holy Cross Education Centre in Mthatha Education District. A student film from the 2016 Inter-School Short Film Competition and Festival in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. There were 18 short films were made with schools for the 2016 Competition.

High School Learners write and pitch their story ideas as short film screenplays. The most promising scripts are selection to go into production as part of the competition. Writers of the selected screenplays get to direct their own films with a team of learners from their school fill the crew roles of producer, camera, lighting, sound, boom swinging, art department, script and continuity, and clapper board operator. The student crews receive introductory training and support from a mentor film crew as they make their film. All actors are from the school, all scenes are created on the school premises, props are sourced by the learners, scenes plotted and rehearsed by the learners, and the film is shot in a single day at the school. The School films are a mix of English, Xhosa and Afrikaans.
