Aloitellaan Kierros Pielisen pohjoiskärjestä Nurmeksesta. Vieraillaan siellä Museojunavarikolla ja jatketaan siitä matkaa Mätäsvaaran kaivokselle ja kaivoskylään. Ihastellaan siellä Alvar Aallon arkkitehtuurin helmiä sekä vanhaa kaivosta ja sen hienoa jätehiekkakenttää. Siitä sitten matka jatkuu eteläkärkeen Ahvenisiin ja sitä kautta Kolille. Upea kierros päätetään Keski-Vuokon henkeä salpaavan kauniisiin maalaismaisemiin. Tervetuloa mukaan matkalle!
