In this video I explained how to fabricate 90 degree elbow using a pipe. Here you will get cutting plan for fabricate elbow using a pipe.
Please go through below cutting plan for fabricating an elbow.
Pipe OD = 60.3 mm
Radius = 90.45 mm
Deg of cut = 90 / (2*3) = 15 deg
L1 = tan15*60.3 = 24.2
L2 = L1*2 = 48.4
Cut back = (tan15*60.3)/2 = 8 mm
In this method you will not loose any dimensions in Radius. And it is ASME 31.3 compatible. The Radius will remain same even after fabricating elbow
