Romania - Oil fire

Two days after Romanian oil well exploded, it was still burning
out of control on Friday (04/04). A metal explosion cap had
melted and the intense heat was restricting a re-capping
operation.
The well, in an oil field near Lovin, 600 kilometres northwest
of Bucharest, blew up when pressure built up during drilling,
causing gas to explode.
