The SOMA LYRA-8 has earned a reputation as one of the most unconventional analog synthesizers ever built. It does not follow the rules of standard pitch, MIDI sequencing, or predictable modulation. Instead, it generates sound through an organic interaction of oscillators, distortion stages, and feedback paths. Every note is less a fixed frequency and more a living event shaped by your touch, voltage instabilities, and the nonlinear behavior of its circuitry.
